Just as traditional desktop applications have made use of API's or libraries to speed time to market, VillageMall Internet API provides the same advantages but in the form of an Internet service. Application developers can now utilise the many years of development and testing that have gone into the core accounting engine.

The Internet API is the result of extensive research and prototyping. We have selected industry standard transactional elements defined in XML and transported using  SOAP, all systems have access to the high assurance public key security infrastructure deployed by VillageMall to ensure the security of all transactions. 

This integration will also support direct accounting system to accounting system transfers between VillageMall systems and also other non-propriety systems.
